There’s a lot to do on the 3km² island. You can check out the light house, have a ride on the flying fox, stay warm next to the many fireplaces, and even a partake in a tree-climbing session up to the bamboo tree house which the listing labels “Tarzan’s House”.

You’ll also be able to walk along the rice paddies and feed the duck farms on the island. There are plum trees, wild strawberries and chestnuts to be foraged, and seafood to be caught. Once nightfall hits, you can view the stars under a clear sky from the open-air bathtub. If that’s not enough, there are also some island Shiba Inu dogs to play with, because life on this island is magical.
