Yanu is said to be the future of bartending. “Our robot called Yanu has soul, has a personality that is run by artificial intelligence,” says Alan Asojjaan, CEO of Robolab, the company that built the machine. “The robot communicates with you, gives suggestions, and even cracks jokes.”

But make no mistakes, gimmicks aside Yanu is a productivity beast – enough to scare the pants off any bartender. The machine has the capacity to make between 100 and 150 drinks per hour, and up to 2000 drinks or cocktails in a single load.

While the robot bar is still in development, it has already been hired by several airports throughout Europe.
