Sometime a picture is worth a thousand words – but we reckon pictures of the amazing Jade Mountain Resort in St. Lucia are worth only one… Wow.
The petite island of St. Lucia is located in the eastern region of the Caribbean, just northwest of Barbados, and is known for its stunning reefs, pristine beaches and tall mountains. A volcanic island, it’s one of the most mountainous islands in the region – the island is known for it’s two peaks, the Pitons, which are currently listed as a World Heritage Site.
Jade Mountain Resort blends naturally with its forest surrounds – the hotel’s design makes the mesmerising infinity pool look like it’s jutting out towards a turquoise abyss, like a platform on which you can overlook the perfect Caribbean Sea and the Pitons mountains.
All rooms are ocean facing and feature a living room, bedroom and private pool that masterfully slide into one another – luxury never looked this good.
On the Celestial Terrace, exotic foods and tasty cocktails are served by award-winning chefs. The island also offers excellent adventures for those who are inclined to leave their luxury accommodation – anything from jungle biking tours to reef kiting and the relatively new fad of snuba (a hybrid scuba diving/snorkelling tour that lets you explore the reef from three metres below the surface, without a giant air tank on your back).
Paradise is waiting – packages for the Jade Mountain Resort start at $1575 USD ($2192AUD).
