By now, any intrepid fan of camping would be aware of the Tentsile hanging tent – a cross between a tent and a hammock designed to be suspended mid-air between trees a few metres above the ground.
But the question remains – how the hell do you get into that thing? While some photos show access via a small rollable wooden ladder, this doesn’t necessarily work in every circumstance – what if the tent is hung too high? Or hung above water? Or above sharp rocks below, you daredevil you?
Now travel Instagrammer Travis Burke has created a timelapse video in Hawaii demonstrating a more adventurous way of entering the portable bedroom. Check it out below:
