Prepare Yourself, Violet Crumble Milk Is Coming Out This Week

When it comes to flavoured milk, I am a boring stickler for the humble strawberry flavour. Apparently everyone is more exciting for me however, and you all go crazy over whacky new flavours.

If you clicked on this tory, chances are high you’ve already taste tested all those Allen’s Lolly-flavoured Oak milks. Heck, you probably even tried the Oak milk-flavoured Allens’ Lollies.

Well there’s a new junk food combo in town and it comes in the form of Violet Crumble milk.

“It may have been 107 years in the making, but it’s better late than never,” Robern Menz CEO Phil Sims said in a statement.

“There’s almost nothing more Australian than flavoured milk as we’ve all grown up with it, so we had to give Aussies what they want. Chocolate and honeycomb splattering together with milk just makes sense”.

This new chocolate and honeycomb flavoured milk beverage is being made by two Adelaide companies: Robern Menz and Bickford’s. Bickford’s you may remember from such treats like lime cordial and iced coffees. Actually, it’s a really South Australian delicacy really, see as the milk is even being supplied by an SA ice creamery.

From October 1 (aka, this Thursday) the new Violet Crumble Chocolate Honeycomb flavoured milk will hit the shelves of supermarkets and service stations around the country for a recommended retail price of $4.50.

In case you missed it, Violet Crumble have been making a few moves lately. The Violet Crumble Caramel came out earlier this year, which yes, is exactly what you’re thinking: a caramelised white chocolate version of the classic choccie bar.

Look, I may be a boring milk drinker, but even I am intrigued by the pull of a honeycomb flavoured milk. Besides which, its 2020 and these weird junk food combos are just about the only thing making it a brighter place.
