These Aussie Cinemas Are Now Slinging Vegemite-Flavoured Popcorn
What is it about Vegemite that makes people want to mix it with absolutely everything under the sun? To this day we have endured Vegemite-flavoured chocolate, meat pies, smoothies, and now, Vegemite popcorn.
Some creations have soared, while others have faltered. To be fair though, Chef’s Gourmet Vegemite and cheese-flavoured popcorn sounds pretty bloody good.

Yep, Village & Event Cinemas is the exclusive home to the brand-new flavour combo coming to theatres from today.
“We are mitey excited to be partnering with our good friends at Village Cinemas and Event Cinemas, to deliver an Aussie take on a cinema classic,” says Matt Gray, Marketing Manager at Vegemite. “Vegemite loves popping up in new and exciting places, and we can’t wait to spread the love with a popcorn that truly tastes like Australia. The combination tastes delicious and we’re excited for our fans to try it.”
The new flavour is available all across the country and for a limited time only. So get in quick if you want to give it a red-hot crack, and let us know what you reckon.
