When it comes to travel, there are some destinations that will always hold a special place in our hearts, and there are those still waiting to be discovered.
A new report from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has revealed this year’s fast-growing travel destinations, and it’s a heartening mix of up-and-comers and recent favourites.
Somewhat surprisingly, the Palestine has is most popular among world travellers, recording a 57.8 per cent increase in international travellers in the first half of 2017. Egypt was close behind, taking a 51 per cent leap, while the Northern Mariana Islands rounds out the top three with a 37.3 per cent jump.
