Trying to find the perfect hostel is a long documented art form. You never really know what you’re going to get until you enter your dorm, dump your bags and settle in for the night. So it’s often a pleasant surprise when you find a gem like Goli±Bosi.
Goli±Bosi is located in Croatia’s second biggest city Split, an up-and-coming tourist hotspot perfect for people who enjoy quirky cool culture, obscenely beautiful sea views and Roman era fortresses – which is basically everyone. Goli±Bosi is Split’s premier design hostel is perfect for anyone who’s ever wanted to live inside the ‘Hotline Bling’ video.
With its sleek futuristic decor, Goli±Bosi is a minimalist’s dream. Modelled in a former 19th century warehouse, the hostel features all yellow and white rooms, sparkly rooftop lighting, quirky staircases and neat decor.
Two out of the hostel’s three storeys feature bright three- and four- person dorms, while the top floor is dedicated to more luxurious suites fitted with double beds and a terrace with one hell of a view.
Goli±Bosi’s location is the clincher – perched right by the Adriatic Sea, the hostel is only a three-minute walk from Diocletian’s Palace and a four-minute walk from the Gallery of Fine Arts.
And although the hotel is minimalist, it doesn’t skimp on luxuries. All dorms feature en-suite bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, curtained beds and lockers. Guests get complimentary breakfast and access to a range of balconies across the three-story building.
There’s also a cool pizzeria downstairs for some after-hours eats.
Very cool.
