This Airbnb Decked Out In Pantone’s Colour Of The Year Is A Kitschy Dream

In case you missed the news, Pantone has released its Colour of the Year for 2017 – and it’s a delightful shade called Greenery. According to Pantone, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings – and what better way to celebrate the new than by trying something supremely out of the ordinary.

Pantone has set up a new Airbnb in London that will let guests spend the night in the physical embodiment of Greenery – basically plants, plants and more plants.

The colour company are inviting guests to “spend the night in colour” with this four-person home in London’s edgy Clerkenwell. The “Outside In” rental is decked out with lush interiors and an indoor oasis that brings to life Pantone’s Colour of the Year.

Inside there are two bedrooms, three beds and one bathroom. Dinner isn’t provided, but guests are encouraged to take cuttings from the herb garden to add flourish to their meals, or pick leaves from around the house for a cup of tea. Showers will happen in the “Rainforest room” and baths will take place in the indoor “tropical lagoon”, fitted with a living moss bath mat.

Every Airbnb has their house rules, but Pantone’s are something to behold. According to their page, guests are told:

– Do bring positive energies.
– Do respect the land, people, wildlife, and plants around you.
– Do use the lawn for morning yoga poses.
– Do breathe deeply and slowly to take in maximum oxygen from the plants.
– Don’t wear stilettos, they are never good on grass.
