One Of Bali’s Most Popular Bars Is Coming To Sydney For One Night Only

There are several different ways to travel Bali: the pubs and clubs way, and the culture way. To be fair though, the perfect Bali trip includes a mix of both.

While the bar scene and rice fields of Bali itself may be off the table for another year (at least), thanks to a new pop-up coming to Sydney it doesn’t mean you can’t get a little taste to tide you over.

For one night only, Bondi Beach Public Bar will be transforming into the famous and colourful Motel Mexicola in Seminyak.

Bali and Mexico? Genius.

On Saturday, November 14, Bondi Beach Public Bar’s whole schtick will change from midday. Think a whole new menu, decor and playlist. Instead, Motel Mexicola will take over with tacos, tequila and colourful tiles — all things which there can never be enough of, in my opinion. Which is why the fact you’ll get bottomless margaritas is sublime.

To give you more of a glimpse into the menu you can expect, there will be slow-cooked lamb and roasted barramundi tacos, corn on the cob with smoked chilli mayo (hell yes), classic margaritas (of course) and a range of chilli and frozen margs, micheladas and sangrita.

There will be two-hour sessions at midday and 2pm for your Bali-inspired Mexican fiesta (try saying that fast, three times). Each taco and margarita feast is $75 per person. Make your bookings on the Bondi Beach Public Bar website.
