There Are Cupcake ATMs In A Bunch Of American Cities Now

Oh America, land of the free, home of the brave, birthplace of Beyoncé and now this.

Bakery chain Sprinkles have opened a number of cupcake ATMs in Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Scottsdale and most recently Manhattan, with new openings on the horizon. The cupcake ATM is what the name suggests. It dispenses freshly baked cupcakes and cookies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You order your cupcake via a touchscreen, swipe your credit card (no cash allowed), then a robotic arm selects your cupcake and delivers it to you. The machine can hold up to 600 cupcakes at a time and they are constantly replenished by the staff members inside the shop.
