Game of Thrones power couple and IRL sweethearts Rose Leslie and Kit Harington were married in Scotland on the weekend, with the reception held at Clan Leslie’s own Wardhill Castle.
It may not be the same castle, but Leslie’s childhood home of Lickleyhead Castle has been made available for rent on Airbnb.
But this is no hunting village beyond the Wall. Nope, Leslie grew up in a legit Scottish castle.
Lickleyhead Castle is a stately compound in the north-eastern Scottish town of Insch. Leslie’s parents, Sebastian and Candida (who goes by Candy) have been renting the spectacular property out as a regular bed and breakfast for several years, but were convinced by their kids to give it a spin on Airbnb.
“My children all encouraged me to do it…Rose uses it in other places. She said, ‘Why don’t you try it?’ and helped me set it up,” Candy told the Daily Mail.
According to the listing, the “quirky and fun” castle has seven bedrooms “tucked away in turrets” and seven bathrooms.
“It is quiet and secluded and very private, set in beautiful parkland surrounded by nature, trees and lawns,” it reads. No risk of a wildling invasion, then?
[related_articles]59852,51337[/related_articles]The castle comes with a five-star rating, with bookings starting from $1000 per night. With space for 14 guests, it’ll set you and your brothers of the Night’s Watch back just $70 each per night.
