Roberto Bertero is a landscape photographer and professional classical musician from Turin, Italy. For the past decade, he’s been photographing the Alps, though he’s been visiting them since he was a child (he was born in Piedmont, which literally translates to “at the foot of the mountains”). “To me, the Alps have always represented adventure, grace, freedom and mystery,” he told AWOL. “I’ve adored performing in the largest cathedrals in the world, immersed in centuries of architectural history.
