The world’s first Aboriginal light festival, Parrtjima — A Festival In Light, returned to Alice Springs overnight, with Indigenous designs projected on the 300 million-year-old natural canvas created by the McDonnell Ranges and its surrounds. The festival features illuminated works from Aboriginal artists from around Central Australia, and will be open to the public at Alice Springs Desert Park until October 1, 2017. Entry is free.
