Our Flight Facilities Competition Winner Instagrammed His Time In New York
One of our Flight Facilities competition winners, Jack Crane, was flown to New York and given tickets to see the group perform at their sold out Webster Hall show earlier this month.
He gave his plus one to his mum and took some Instagram photos for us of their time in the Big Apple. Check them out below for a bit of travel inspiration.

After an overnight stopover in LA breakfast Bloody Marys were a necessity.
Everything might be bigger in Texas but NYC is well and truly up for the challenge.
There’s a noticeable difference in the style of bars between Brooklyn and NYC. This Brooklyn bar served beer only in hand-painted wine glasses.
Also, the dining culture has had a bit of a shakeup with a bunch of European and Aussie ex-pats opening cafes with delicious results like this.

Hot tip for tourists – coming to New York in winter means you get whole pockets of Central Park to yourself.

And finally, a video of the actual gig we came along to see. Owl Eyes killed it and the whole show was amazing overall. Plus whoever was doing the lighting deserves a medal.
