National Geographic’s Photographer Of The Year Entries Are Here

Hold onto your hats – iconic travel mag National Geographic have released the first batch of entries for their 2016 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year Competition.

This competition gives regular joes the chance to become fully-fledged travel photography pros, shining a spotlight on images that showcase the world at large. Entries are split into three categories – Nature, People and Cities – with the results a collection of inspiring travel stories.

There’s prizes too! The grand prize winner will receive a seven-day trip for two on the Polar Bear Safari at a National Geographic’s Churchill Wild-Seal River Heritage Lodge. First prize winner will take home a Sony Alpha a6300 Mirrorless Digital Camera, with National Geographic DVDs and books for second and third prize.
