Messina Are Now Flogging Ice Cream Bars In Supermarkets So You Don’t Have To Line Up Anymore

In news that’s fab for you tastebuds, but no so much for your wallet or your dedication to eating healthy (but then again, 2020 calories don’t count), Gelato Messina have released a new line of ice cream bars you can pick up from your local supermarket.
In partnership with Peters Ice Cream, Messina has released three flavours in the ice cream bars. The first is Choc Hazelnut, which is described as cocoa gelato, layered with chocolate biscuit and hazelnut sauce, covered in hazelnut choc.
Then for the coffee lovers there’s Espresso Dulce De Leche — espresso gelato, biscuit and gooey Dulce de Leche centre, covered in a milk choc.
Finally, my personal favourite and you can hook it to my veins, Strawberry Cheesecake, which is lemon-infused gelato with biscuit and strawberry sauce, covered in pink choc.
And yes, they’re still made with Messina ingredients, so it’s not just another Paddle Pop.
They’re out now as a four pack around Australia for recommended retail price of $10 in Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery stores — also via Couchfood which you can get delivered on several food delivery apps like Menulog and Deliveroo.
