Melbourne Is Hosting A Music Festival For Dogs This Month

This is it – the pinnacle of life in Melbourne. Australia’s chillest city will soon be host to a music festival almost exclusively for your dog.

Yep that’s right, Dogapalooza is coming to Melbourne.

Be sure to make two flower crowns for this festival, one for you and your pooch as he’s now invited to laze about on a Sunday afternoon drinking tinnies and enjoying some sweet tunes too (well maybe not the drinking tinnies part, but you get the idea).

Originally born in Adelaide and created by the mastermind team of SA Dog Rescue and crusaders Oscar’s Law, Dogapalooza is finally making its Melbourne debut thanks to a few animal advocacy organisations. All proceeds will be going to doggy charities to help aid in the welfare and support of man’s best friend.

Currently on the bill is the very best in woof-woof (doof-doof? Get it? ) music – just kidding, but there’s twin harmonics Amistat, singer-songwriter Tash Sultana and an acoustic set from crooner Harrison Storm.

Dogapalooza takes place on Sunday September 27 at Burnley Park in Richmond. Tickets can be found here. Also if you are sans pooch, don’t stress – dog lovers are still invited to come and get their share of sweet puppy love.
