Melbourne Has A Pop Up Croquet Club Right Now

Housed in the bustling Birrarung Mar, The Royal Croquet Club (RCC) is a pop up food, entertainment, sporting and lifestyle festival that lets Melbournians act out their own personal version of Alice In Wonderland

Having previous success running the event in Adelaide, the RCC is on until February 1, coinciding with the Australian Open Tennis and giving spectators in the precinct another reason to hang out in the area with live tennis action being displayed on a big screen.

There are food carts from some of Melbourne’s best restaurants like D.O.C, Mr Claws, Meatmother, Miss Chu, St.Ali and Gelato Messina, plus plenty of great music on offer, with a particularly great lineup across the Australia Day weekend. The Kite String Tangle performs on January 23, Miami Horror spin a DJ set on the 24th, Japanese Wallpaper plays on the 25th and Hayden James wraps up the weekend on the 26th.

Down the rabbit hole we go.
