The Massive Falls Festival Lineup Is Here & It’s Definitely Worth Travelling For
www.awol.com.au
It’s time to lock down your New Year’s plans; the annual Falls Festival has released a lineup worth travelling for. The Avalanches are at the top of the huge cast, which takes place over the New Year’s week in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay, and Fremantle.
There’s a sturdy international contingent heading our way, with the previously announced Childish Gambino and London Grammar on the list, along with Catfish and The Bottlemen, Jamie T, Swedish pop artist MØ, Grouplove, and hip hop legend Grandmaster Flash. The local acts are also strong, with Violent Soho, Alison Wonderland, The Rubens, The Jezabels, and Tkay Maidza all stepping up to deliver sets.
Alongside the music, there will be the usual host of rad Falls activities to sink your teeth into, including art installations, interactive games, and visual arts performances. It’s also the first year that the festival will be heading to Fremantle, with a two day event happening in the first week of January.
General ticket sales will commence at 9am local time Tuesday August 30 via the festival website. Local Tasmanian ticket sales will commence at retail outlets from 9am local time on Tuesday August 30.
Check out the full lineup and festival dates below. Now the only question is which one to attend.
