We’ve got some downright epic news for you, Sydney. The burger kingpins Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham are opening Mary’s On Top, a brand-new rooftop burger bar today, and they’re doing discounted meals all week.
Self-isolation has been a great excuse to get meals delivered. Sadly, some foods just don’t taste the same when they arrive at your door, including burgers. Which is why we’re keen to get among the vibes at Mary’s On Top.
Mary’s On Top will open at 12pm today, June 4 on the rooftop of the iconic Lansdowne Hotel.
As for what those vibes will actually involve, Mary’s On Top will be slinging the restaurant’s full menu. Get the signature Mary’s burger, mash ‘n’ gravy and those fab Mary’s fries.
The entire vegan menu will also be available, so you can get plant-based burgers and an entire fried chook-style cauliflower.
Even better, Mary’s is doing 30 percent off all dine-in and Deliveroo meals from today until June 10.
“This is about celebrating what we have to share with a world sorely in need of a good time,” Smyth said in a statement. “We have a lot of sun in Sydney, we have a fucking rooftop, and we have the best fucking burgers in the world. Put them together with some beer or a bottle of vino, and we aren’t solving the crisis — but we might just stick a smile on some of our staff and our punters at the same time.”
You won’t need to make a reservation to get a table at Mary’s On Top, just rock up between 12pm and 10pm any Thursday to Sunday. Luckily, restaurants in NSW can now seat up to 50 people at a time.
