London’s Getting A Giant Inner-City Zip Line

Last month we told you about the massive zip line from Paris‘ iconic Eiffel Tower, and people rightfully lost their minds. Now, we’re extremely pleased to inform you that London is getting the same zip line treatment. And it’s happening in a week.
London’s zip line will be located in Archbishop’s Park near Lambeth Palace and will be the fastest you can find in any major city in the world. Thrillseekers will climb a 35 metre tower, strap themselves in and get arguably the best view of London’s attractions on the way down.
The experience will last 40 minutes in total: instructions and strapping in, but the actual zip line ride itself will be over with in 30 seconds. You’ll be travelling 80 kilometres per hour through the air, after all.
The zip line is being set up by Zip World, an adventure company with a number of locations across Britain including Zip World Titan, the first four person zip line in the world.
Unfortunately, unlike in Paris, the London zip line isn’t free, with an adult ticket costing around $38AUD. It will be opening up on 7 July and run for the duration of England’s summer for 12 weeks. Find out more info here.
We can’t wait!
