LA’s New Dog Cafe Is Every Human’s Dream

If you thought pairing yoga and beer was pretty much peak LA, think again. Now you can gave your morning cuppa joe with a side of puppy at LA’s Dog Cafe.

It’s actually America’s very first dog cafe and it’s about to blow every cat cafe out of the park. At the Dog Cafe in hip enclave Silver Lake, you can play, cuddle and just plain stare at adorable dogs all day, under the guise of drinking coffee or grabbing lunch.

And if you fall in love with a puppy while you’re there, you’re in luck – all of the pups are rescue dogs up for adoption.

Because it’s literally a room full of dogs, there’s no food served at the cafe, but you have your pick of the litter when it comes to drinks. Coffee, tea, lattes, mocha and flavoured lemonades are all on offer with products made from Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. and Dogs Drink Coffee, two companies that donate a portion of their proceeds to animals in need.

Entry into the dog cafe costs $10 per hour and includes a coffee or tea on arrival. Reservations are recommended and you can even check out all of your future best friends online before you go.
