Your fave Italian restaurant, Fratelli Fresh, is celebrating the first birthday of its Darling Harbour store. To mark the occasion, they’re throwing a massive two-day Italian Food and Wine Festival, and everyone is invited. Oh, and they’re serving free gelato to everyone who drops by.
On May 25 and 26, Sydney’s Darling Harbour will be ground zero for one of the tastiest festivals to ever grace our shores. The weekend will be dedicated to all things Italian food and wine. We’re talking about all the stuff you’d consume all day, every day, if only it wouldn’t destroy your arteries.

Pizza lovers (and who among us is not?) can book into one of two Pizza Masterclass sessions — there’s one on Saturday for adults and a kids’ class on Sunday. You’ll pick up some tips and tricks to make your next home-made pizza taste better than ever.
If you’re more of a sweet-tooth, there’s a cooking class on Sunday where you’ll learn to make Fratelli’s famous banoffee pie. This one’s free, but you have to book a spot in the class and availability is limited, so get on it ASAP!
The centrepiece of the festival is one of Fratelli’s famous Long Table Series lunches on Saturday. Diners will get a four course meal with free-flowing espresso martinis, beer, wine and Aperol spritzes. The menu reads like a Greatest Hits piece, created from the best of the best of the Long Table Series lunches from last year. Smoked salmon crostini, potato dumplings with mint and pecorino in burnt butter and sage, Sicilian Mussels, porchetta and lemon roasted chicken, finished up with panna cotta with strawberries for dessert.

And just a reminder – there’s free gelato for everyone!
