It’s almost criminal that we have to “go to work” to earn money and don’t just get paid to stay at home playing with a dog. But that absolute dream is going to become a very legit reality for the lucky person who lands this dream job and gets paid to live in a London townhouse and look after two adorable dogs.
A busy couple are searching for an animal-lover to move into their six-story Kensington townhouse and look after things while they’re jetsetting around the world for work.[related_articles]78861,79439,77996[/related_articles]
The kicker: the lucky candidate will share the house with the couple’s two golden retrievers, Milo and Oscar.
The second kicker is that the job pays between £30k and £32k (between AU$57k and $61k) a year to look after the very good boys.

This isn’t Milo and Oscar, but they’re still two very good dogs.
The successful candidate will take the dogs for a walk every morning and evening, and essentially become their personal assistant. They’ll arrange all of their appointments, manage their insurances and organise all of their meals. (Thank you very much Milo and Oscar, I’d be honoured to organise your vet appointment, right away.)
They’ll also be responsible for daily housekeeping duties like doing the laundry, going grocery shopping and cooking for the couple when they’re at home (the dream job listing says that any cooking experience would be an advantage, but isn’t required).
While they’ll have to work occasional weekends, the job is generally Monday to Friday. The house in Knightsbridge is close to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, and London’s shopping institution Harrods is in the neighbourhood.
What will it take to land this dream job? The candidate must be passionate about dog care and have prior experience looking after dogs. The role is suited to someone who’s fit and active and has housekeeping experience. If that sounds like you, you can apply online here.
