Honestly, I hate cooking so much, and the only thing that stops me from ordering my meals via delivery apps every day is because I’m not yet rich and famous, and my budget is very real.
So what if the meals were only $1? Game changer.
In celebration of their fifth birthday, Deliveroo are offering thousands of $1 meals across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane at different times.

The catch is, you won’t know exactly what meal you’re getting until it arrives at your door. I know, so much suspense. What we do know, however, is that is could be anything from $1 burgers, pastas and curries to ice creams and other desserts.
We also know the full list of participating restaurants, which is very important — $1 for a crap meal is still $1 wasted, in my opinion.
Melbourne, on November 11, between 12pm and 6pm, you can nab a $1 meal from:
- Chicken Episode Plus
- Bistro Morgan
- Tadka Hut
- Gelato Messina – Richmond
- Bistro Morgan- Editions Collingwood
- Royal Stacks Brunswick
On November 12, between 1pm and 4:30pm, Sydney can get their hands on $1 meals from:
- Little L
- BL Burgers
- Manoosh Pizzeria
- Johnny Bird
- The Italian Bowl
- Burger Patch
Finally, Brisbane will get a go on November 13, from 2pm to 5pm, with $1 meals from:
- Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers – Paddington
- Ginga Sushi Japanese – Emporium
- Brooklyn Depot – South Brisbane
- The Yiros Shop
To order, just hope on your Deliveroo app during your city’s allotted time and search for “$1 Deals”. Nom nom nom.
