Attention comic book enthusiasts and fans of really, really, ridiculously good-looking people: Chris Hemsworth is back on home soil, and you can hang out with him.

Well, sort of. On Wednesday, Madame Tussauds Sydney welcomed the iconic Aussie actor and Hollywood heartthrob to their wax-figure family.

The 193cm-tall sculpture is a world-first, taking a dedicated team of over 100 sculptors, artists and stylists to construct over the course of six months. Each individual hair was inserted strand-by-strand, a process that took almost three months alone.
