Qantas Is Selling Fully Stocked Bar Carts So You Can Get Drunk On Mini Wines At Home

Not sure if you noticed, but a lot has changed in 2020. Most of us are jonesing just to get back on a plane (and yes, travel addiction is a real thing) and with South Australia and Northern Territory joining the list of states re-opening to most of the rest of the country, we’re starting to be able to.

OR, we could say “screw it” and just bring the flight experience home with us.

You may have jumped on the bandwagon earlier int he year when Qantas started selling off their highly coveted First Class pyjamas, but now they’ve truly outdone themselves. They’re selling fulling stocked bar carts that you can take home with you.

“We recently retired our beloved 747 fleet, but before they made the final journey to the Californian desert, we removed and restocked the bar carts so they could continue drinks’ service in the comfort of your home,” explains their website.

“These pre-loved carts served Qantas and our customers well during their world travels from London and Los Angeles to Singapore and Santiago, with each one averaging around 2,000 flights. While we no longer have use for them, they still have life in them, especially for those with an appreciation for quirky aviation collectables and an eye for unique design”.

There’s only a SUPER limited amount available and they’re selling quickly, so head over here to nab yours, ASAP.

They’re not all that cheap though. You can either get a full sized cart for $1,474.70, or a half size one for $974.70, but at least that price includes delivery and all the goodies inside them.

Speaking of goodies, according to the description, “the trolleys contain a range of Business Class items, including champagne, mini bottles of red and white wine, Tim Tams, iconic Qantas pyjamas, an exclusive Qantas First Class Sheridan throw and more”.

The offer will end on October 9, unless already sold out, which is super likely.

If you do miss out but still want your mini wines, you’ll be pleased to know they’re actually already selling a range of picnic-sized wines off separately — so go crazy.
