Grab your pearls, ladies: You’ll finally be able to have breakfast at Tiffany’s when the iconic jeweller opens a café in its 5th Avenue store this week.
The aptly named Blue Box Café is part of an extensive renovation project at Tiffany’s flagship store in New York City and will open on Friday, November 10. It sits on the sprawling establishment’s fourth floor, alongside its home and accessories collections.
On the menu are high-quality American classics made from locally sourced seasonal produce and, fortunately for those not content to send their plates back to the kitchen, the chic table settings are available for purchase, too.
“Both the café and redesign of the Home and Accessories floor reflect a modern luxury experience,” Reed Karkoff, Tiffany’s chief artistic office, said in a statement. “The space is experimental and experiential – a window into the new Tiffany.”
Of course, Audrey Hepburn’s Holly Golightly famously ate her breakfast as she gazed into the legendary shopfront, though Hepburn did pose for a number of promotional shots on the showroom floor when the film was released in 1961.
