Aloha! A Hawaiian Pop-Up Store Is Opening In Sydney
It’s getting a little chilly here in Australia, but over in sunny, breezy Hawaii, summer’s only just getting started. So what better way to warm our toes than a little dose of Hawaiian flavour?
This week, an all-Hawaiian pop-up store is opening in Sydney. FLUX promises to showcase music, art and fashion from Hawaiian artists, creators and designers, as well as shortbread courtesy of the famous Honolulu Cookie Company. It’s the only time these renowned cookies will be available on Australian soil, so make sure to grab a bite (or 10).
You’ll also get to check out Hawaiian-made accessories, stationery and more, as well as attending a series of workshops and talks.
FLUX will arrive in Sydney after three years of travelling across the US, including pop-ups in Brooklyn, Venice and New York City. Arriving just in time for Hawaii Tourism Oceania’s Month of Lei, it only makes sense to arrive in Australia next, given how much Aussies love the Aloha State.
Still not convinced? Here’s how it looked in Los Angeles:
You can almost feel the sun on your back.
It all takes place from this Thursday May 25 and runs until Sunday May 28. Head to the official website for more.
