It’s true that we won’t be able to travel internationally until at least mid-2021, but that doesn’t mean we have to ‘settle’ for exploring more of Australia.
From pink lakes to white sand beaches to rugged desert landscapes, this country of our is actually pretty damn epic. If you’re not willing to take my word for it (rude), then please allow these 10 Instagram accounts who use their photos and Reels to fill you with inspiration and excitement to hit the road.

Of course the co-creator of boho and aztec-inspired cotton rug company, Salty Aura, has an amazing Insta account to fill you with Aussie road trip envy.
#2 Sarah Byden
Sarah and her boyfriend Vinnie Preston are exploring the country in their “Troopy Kev” 4WD, and between their two accounts, they’re causing some serious fomo.
#3 Angus Howe
Angus Howe’s aptly named account, @seayou.later, focuses on the ocean so it’s perfect inspo for these warmer days. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t occasional head inland, though.

This account just makes you want to buy a van immediately, as the couple shares their van travels as they move around the country to photograph weddings.
#5 Kendall Baggerly
Kendall is out on the road with her man and her van and the results are quite enviable. They have a lot of NT content, which is handing seeing as it’s opening up early next month.

Harry is exploring the country “by air, land or sea” and, um, we’ll go where he’s going, thank you very much. Especially if you’re looking for a bit of surfing content.
