You Can Swim In A Pool Of Sprinkles When The Museum Of Ice Cream Opens In LA

Last year, in the heat of the US summer, a Museum of Ice Cream opened in New York and broke the internet.
Over 30,000 tickets were sold in just three days, and the colourful, neon-lit, Instagram-friendly pop up was a sensual onslaught, with edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room, and a “collaborative massive ice cream sundae”. Delish. But the real jewel in the ice cream crown was a swimmable pool full of rainbow sprinkles.

The temporary museum sure broke a lot of hearts when it shut up shop, but now there’s new hope for those who missed out. According to a scoop (ahem) from Los Angeles Magazine, job postings have appeared online, suggested that the shrine to everyone’s favourite frozen food is opening in LA as soon as next month.

This is in line with an Instagram posted by the Museum of Ice Cream a week ago, which says they’ll be announcing their new location soon. So, if you’ve been looking for a reason to get yourself to LA, we reckon now is a pretty good time. Want some more reasons? Here you go:
