You would think that the Vaucluse Lounge on the infamous Sunset Strip of West Hollywood has enough of a claim to fame already – formerly the home of both Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan, this venue is positively steeped in LA’s rock’n’roll history. Secret tunnels left over from the days of prohibition connect the Vaucluse to several other Hollywood hot-spots, and these days the lounge is frequented by living legends like Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell.

But the Vaucluse’s most astonishing claim to fame is its signature cocktail: a martini made of vodka that has been “infused” with diamonds for a week, and comes at a price point of either $10,000 or $100,000 depending on the size of the gem. It is touted as the world’s most expensive cocktail, and fittingly, was recently featured on an episode of GQ’S video series Most Expensivest Shit, hosted by rappers 2 Chainz and Big Sean.
