Unicorn Frappuccinos Are A Thing And They’re Coming To Starbucks
Unicorns may not be real, but apparently Unicorn Frappuccinos are – and they’re landing at Starbucks this week.
What exactly is a Unicorn Frappuccino, you ask? Well, it’s blue, pink and covered in sparkles, exactly how you’d imagine a Unicorn-flavoured drink to look like.

As for the flavour, it’s a pretty unique combination: mango syrup, “unicorn pink” powder colouring, “Blue Drizzle”, which is a combination of white mocha, classic syrup and sour unicorn blue powder, and sprinkle-dusted whipped cream.
Though they will be officially launching this week on April 19, some have already had a taste of the new flavour. Unfortunately, the reviews… aren’t that great.
Snacktaku writer Mike Fahey, whose wife works at Starbucks, published an early review of the mango-flavoured drink. He describes the ingredients as “a combination of white mocha syrup, one of the sweetest syrups known to barristae, simple syrup, while is basically more sugar, and a packet of powder that’s mixed with the two to make something bold, blue and painfully sour.” He also describes the sparkly whipped cream on top as “intensely sour sugar”.
The Unicorn Frappuccino will be available in Starbucks across the US this week and will be on offer until April 23.
