Uluru’s ‘Field Of Light’ Exhibition Has Been Extended Until 2018

Striking large-scale art installation ‘Field Of Light’ by British artist Bruce Munro will be continuing its super successful run – originally scheduled to finish in 2017 – through to 2018.

The installation features over 50,000 slender LED lights ‘planted’ in a vast expanse of the Outback near Uluru, making our most incredible natural landmark even more impressive. Since opening, almost 100,000 guests have visited the installation, which is named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku or ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’ in local Pitjantjatjara.

The exhibition will now be running until March 31, 2018, meaning you have a whole extra year to make your way to the Outback and take it all in.
