This Ridiculous 5km Inflatable Obstacle Course Is Coming To A City Near You

Looking for a new way to work out over summer? What if, instead of simply running five kilometres, you were able to slip, slide and climb in a giant jumping castle to the same (but way funner) effect? You can – the ROC Race is back.

ROC – which stands for Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge – is the original game show-inspired obstacle run featuring a bucket load of very fun challenges. Obstacles include the the Wrecking Ball, the Sweeper, and Jump Balls, which are pretty much exactly what they sound like. The finish line itself is a thrill, involving a trip down a towering four storey story waterslide to victory.

ROC came to Australia last year and the entire country went positively bananas over it, and judging by the photos, it’s not hard to see why.

Next year, the course will be travelling around Australia once more, hitting up Brisbane, The Sunshine Coast, The Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. While no dates are available just yet, you can sign up to the VIP list for all updates. Check out last year’s madness in the video below:
