These Hot Springs Are Hidden In The Middle Of A Lush Forest
If you ever find yourself driving through the west coast of the USA, be sure to make a stop in to Oregon for a dip in the stunning Umpqua Hot Springs.
Not like your regular hot springs, you’ll find these warm pools tucked away in the Umpqua National Forest near the city of Glide, Oregon.
After a short steep hike from the parking lot, these natural wonders are perched overlooking the North Umpqua River. There are six spring pools that cascade down towards the river, and as the water flows from one pool to the next, the temperatures decrease as you go down the mountain.
Clothing is optional in the hot springs, so be sure to leave your prudish sensibilities at home as you’ll most certainly be surrounded by other free-spirited individuals soaking up the warmth and relaxing in these hot tubs of nature.
