The Entire Country Of Sweden Is Listed On Airbnb
Airbnb has continued to expand over the years, with experiences, activities, tours and so on available for hire alongside homes and rooms. It’s now gone one step further, with the entire country of Sweden listed on the home-sharing website.
The move comes as a rather creative promotion for Sweden, who proudly abide by the principal of “Allemansrätten”, or the freedom to roam.
The website explains: “Swedish nature isn’t just a piece of land with trees and lakes and cliffs – it’s a home with all the necessities and amenities that any great home should have. It’s a place where you can eat berries from the ground, sleep under the stars, swim in the lakes and roam freely.” Fitting in with the concept of Sweden being “available for everybody”, they’ve gone and listed the entire thing on Airbnb.
Of course you can’t actually rent the whole of Sweden, but they’ve listed some of the country’s many attractions, and having it all laid out really does show off how much this beautiful country has on offer for visitors.
From a “Rustic Forest Retreat” and “Cozy Glade in Beech Forest“, to “Rugged Cliffs Shaped by the Ice Sheet” to “Classic Lookout Point by Spectacular Mountains“, Sweden is certainly pushing its way up high on our travel bucket list. One question remains, though: does it come with free breakfast and wifi?
