Hold on to your hats, because a fine-dining restaurant that’s suspended 50 metres above the ground is making it’s way to Western Australia.
Marketed as “the world’s most unique dining experience”, Dinner In The Sky has been travelling the globe and will be setting up in Perth until the end of March.
It’s not for the faint-hearted – a huge crane will suspend a kitchen and a 22-seater bar with 180-degree rotating seats above Sir James Mitchell Park on Perth’s south foreshore. The restaurant shows-off with award-winning chefs and cocktail specialists, five-star service and of course, five-star views.
Bookings are now open and there are four packages on offer: a three-course lunch with matching wines for $295, brunch tasting will cost $215, and a session of sunset canapés with cocktails made by specially trained mixologists will set you back $235. But the star of the show is the 65-minute sky-high five-course dinner package valued at $395.
All four menus have been fine-crafted by chef Matthew Anderson using the best of fresh Western Australian produce keeping to a Modern Australian inspired-cuisine.
The once-in-a-lifetime experience has limited sessions available and is selling quickly. So seriously, book soon if you’re keen.
