The Drinks Are Bottomless At Sydney’s Month-Long Rosé Festival

Rose Rising: Barangaroo House Is Celebrating The Boozy Pink Drink

I’ve never once in my entire life enjoyed the taste of red or white wine. Rosé, on the other hand, can’t fill my glass quick enough. So good news for me and anyone who feels the same way, because Barangaroo House is paying tribute to the sweet pink drink all month long with Rosé Rising.

Until October 31, all three levels of Barangaroo House in Sydney will be awash in hot pink graffiti art and neon lights. Each floor will be dedicated to a different kind of rosé, and there’s a massive lineup of bottomless rosé lunches, specialty desserts and even a rosé vending machine.

On the ground floor, House Bar’s serving $12 frosé and $35 carafes of rosé sangria. The Insta-famous Moët vending machine is also here, spilling out the fanciest cans of drink you’ve ever seen. Feeling lucky? Spin the Rosé Roulette Wheel for a chance to win special prizes.

Upstairs in Bea, a raw bar serving oysters, kingfish and caviar has popped up, and the bartenders have put together some special rosé cocktails. But the real star here is the bottomless rosé lunch – on Friday and on the weekends, you can add an hour and a half of free-flowing drinks to any main course or set menu.

Head up to the rooftop if you want even more cocktails, including the Coming Up Rosé with Belvedere, Lillet Rose, Chandon sparkling rosé, watermelon juice and strawberries. The Rosé Highball mixes rosé vermouth, Aperol and Campari with pomegranate and tonic water, and the Rising Spritz is made from Belvedere, Aperol, strawberry and three kinds of rosé. There are also pink desserts and DJs playing every Saturday.

Check out the full Rosé Rising lineup here and gather your squad to celebrate the pinkest drink.

If rosé’s not your drink, what about the Kath & Kim-inspired chardonnay festival coming to Chippendale on October 22?
