Sydney Is Throwing A Rosé Festival Next Weekend
Opera Bar on Sydney Harbour should be on top of the weekend to-do list of every visitor to the Harbour City. Where else can you kick back in the afternoon sun and soak up world-class views?
Now, there’s an even better reason to stop by: Over the October long weekend, it’ll be paying homage to everyone’s favourite summer drop, rosé.
The Rosé All Day Festival at Opera Bar will run over four spring days, showcasing an impressive range of local and international drops, from McLaren Vale’s Yangarra Pet Nat Sparkling, Craggy Range Rosé from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, AIX Rosé out of Provence, France, and Pink Claw Grenache Rosé from the Mornington Peninsula.
Aside from serving up all the frosé, rosé-inspired cocktails, still and sparkling you could ever need, waiters will be circling the floor with cheese and oyster platters in hand.
The entire day will be adorned in millennial pink, and guests are encouraged to follow the theme – the first 50 guests to arrive each day will receive a flower crown to complete their ensemble.
No festival would be complete without live music, and event organisers have pulled together an impressive line-up of local artists to provide some sweet tunes for the festivities.
The festival kicks off on Friday September 29 at 3pm and runs through Monday October 2. Tickets are $35 and include entry plus three rosé bevvies of your choosing – purchase yours here.
