McDonald’s Has Released A Banana Caramel Pie McFlurry And Obviously We Must Try It

It’s a talent unique to large fast food chains that they’re able to release new menu items that make you go “ew” and “please get in my mouth immediately” at the exact same time. This is how I’m currently feeling about the new Banana Caramel Pie McFlurry from McDonald’s, released today.
There is a small catch though, as reported by Taste.com.au, until June 10 it’s only available for delivery via UberEats. If you can wait until June 11, however, it’ll be in your nearest Macca’s store.
But also, what the hell is it? If you ever tasted their Apple Pie McFlurry, it’s along those lines with a lot more banana and caramel, obviously.
According to a press release from McDonald’s, it’ll be a “Macca’s famous crispy pie pastry with a delicious banana caramel filling combined with caramel topping swirled into our famous soft serve”.
I’ll be honest, to me it sounds like too much, but everyone else is going wild so maybe it’s I who is wrong. I’ll just stick to my $2 Donut Balls I think.
Of course, this is THE time to try new desserts, so why the hell not. If we can air fry Caramello Koalas and everyone has been posting baking content since the dawn of lockdown time, then we can eat a Banana Caramel Pie McFlurry.
Hell, if everything keeps going well and the Trans-Tasman Travel Bubble stays on track, you may even be able to eat it at this New Zealand Macca’s, INSIDE an actual (decommissioned) plane.
