This London Hotel Has A Cute AF Cat On The Payroll

There are only two things that prove the world is good: Phoebe Waller-Bridge won three Emmys for Fleabag, and The Lanesborough hotel in London has adopted a cute-as-hell resident cat named Lilibet.
Lilibet is a Siberian Forest Cat who joined the hotel back in June 2019. It’s unclear what her official job description is but tbh, she could do whatever she wanted and I’d petition to get her a pay rise.

We can only imagine that staying here now would be a transcendent experience on par with seeing the Mona Lisa or tucking into all-you-can-eat scnitzel.
It’s part of the Oetker Hotel Collection, which has become a bit famous for its resident cats. Lilibet joins Fa-Raon at Le Bristol Paris and Kléopatre at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Germany.

If you’re not a feline fan (weird flex, but okay) or are allergic, don’t worry — Siberians are hypoallergenic. They’re also friendly and affectionate, so it’s no surprise that Lilibet landed the job.
It’s (thankfully) pretty common for hotels to have live-in animals. The St Regis Aspen has Kitty the Bernese mountain dog, while the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers puppy therapy to its guests.
What a world we live in.
