Is This The Most Instagrammed Pool In The World?

The thing about following travel bloggers and photographers on Instagram is that you’ll eventually start noticing the same few destinations on your feed: Cappadocia in Turkey, Salvation Mountain in the US, the rice fields in Ubud, and, now, this little slice of heaven in Morocco.

We reckon this must be the most Instagrammed pool in the world right now:

Look familiar? You’ve probably seen it on your feed before, and for a reason. It seems every man and their dog blogger with an Instagram account is headed to Riad Yasmine, a seven-bedroom burrow in Marrakech, for a dip in their exquisite private pool.

Shady palm trees flank this emerald plunge pool which is delicately framed by geometric tiles and comfy looking sunbeds. Oh, the things we’d do to be in this luxe zen oasis right now….

Just scrolling through the Riad’s geotagged photos is enough to lull you into a turquoise-hued Moroccan daydream.

Access to the pool is for hotel guests only, with a night at Riad Yasmine setting you back between 95 to 125 euros a night (about $135 to $178AUD). So worth it.

This spot, coupled with the incredible blue city of Chefchaouen, proves Morocco is the place to go, if only for the Instas alone. No wonder it was named in our list of places to travel to in 2017, as decided by our worldly contributors.
