This New NYC Pop-Up Celebrates All Things Doggo

Human's Best Friend

Pop-up museums and exhibits in New York City are certainly having a moment, celebrating everything Instagrammable from ice cream to pizza. But we’re here to tell you that a new pop-up has come to town to shut it down, by temporarily filling that dog-shaped hole in your life.

Introducing Human’s Best Friend: the brand new, fully immersive pop-up experience celebrating all things dog.

“We wanted to turn the pop-up trend on its head,” Jason Sherwood one of the co-creators of the experience told Lonely Planet. “We wanted to use our design experience to create an environment that would celebrate dogs, and also help rescue dogs find forever homes.”

The space was designed to be just as much fun for dogs as it is for their humans, with eight technicolour environments, each of which have been inspired by the day-to-day life of dogs. There are fancy AF doghouses, a bone bar, tennis balls galore and much more.

Best of all, Human’s Best Friend helps find fur-ever homes for homeless pups. Should you fall in love with one of the dogs on site (as if you wouldn’t) you will be given all the information to start the adoption process then and there. Plus, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to dog rescue organisations.
