Give me a big bowl of pasta and some comfy pants and you better believe I’ll be a good mood girl. Now it’s going to be easier than ever to get a quick pasta fix if you’re in Melbourne, thanks to Good Gnocchi – a new hole-in-the-wall pasta joint in Collingwood.
Good Gnocchi is what happens when you take two amazing concepts – carbs and not eating with strangers at a restaurant – and mush them together in a delicious, cheesy hybrid.
[related_articles]73328,37015,16104[/related_articles]It’s serving up takeaway-only gnocchi dishes from 12pm till 8pm every Tuesday through to Saturday. They’re cheap, they’re quick, they’re gnocchi, what more could you ask for?
Expect gnocchi with walnut pesto, bolognese, butter sage and a four cheese monster. They’re all $15, and you can add on extra cheese or garlic bread for a couple of extra bucks. There’s even a gluten-free option available, and you can order any of the dishes as vacuum-sealed, ready-to-cook dinner packs for two.

Like the one that promises a free gnocchi to the first customer of the day who’s named Nicole. Giving away a free gnocchi to the first customer of the day who has red hair seems to be a popular deal at this place. Check their Instagram to see what the next Freebee Friday deal is.

A sneaky peak at their Instagram tells us they’ll be unveiling something call a “Gnoquette” soon. They describe it as gnocchi battered in a four-cheese sauce and deep fried. I describe it as the best meal of 2019.
Heads up to all y’all eco-friendly diners out there: Good Gnocchi will fill up a BYO takeaway container if you bring one.
If you’re after more of Melbourne’s best dining experiences, these are the seven best restaurant experiences in the city, and Fitzroy just scored a new Tex-Mex cantina loaded with giant, frozen margaritas.
