In A Cruel Twist, Cadbury Has Released New Caramilk Hokey Pokey Flavour Only In NZ

I can’t remember when Cadbury first pulled their Caramilk chocolate off the shelves, but I do remember being a kid who was extremely upset about it. Dad and I were probably the only people keeping them in business back then.
In the time before they brought it back, I discovered that Crunchie chocolate was probably what they eat in heaven. See? We grow and adapt.
So then what a bloody rollercoaster to discover that Cadbury announced a holy Caramilk Hokey Pokey flavour (YAS) that they were only releasing in New Zealand (WHYYYY). I mean honestly, they already have the good Prime Minister, why do they also get the good chocolate?
Sure, we got Marble, but frankly you can keep that shit in exchange for more Caramilk. Although a lot of people will be mad at me for saying that.

While the release seemed to be kept on the down-low, Cadbury was forced to confirm this mother of all chocolate flavours was a real thing after photos started popping up around the internet.
As says the packaging, it’s “a golden blend of caramalised white chocolate and golden hokey pokey pieces”. Honestly, somebody PLEASE post this to me.
Speaking to News.com.au, Cadbury’s marketing manager Kate Watson confirmed the flavour’s existence, but crushed all my hopes and dreams by saying it wasn’t heading for Australia any time soon. Instead, she said they were interested to hear if Aussie would like it (um, OBVIOUSLY), and that Cadbury have some “good news to share with Cadbury Caramilk fans in Australia very soon”. So make of that what you will, I guess.
Let’s just hop that Trans-Tasman travel bubble is a thing that actually happens soon. I mean, the mountains and cities are great and all, but I just really need to stock up on this chocolate.
Or that the good folks in the Caramilk Addicts Club Facebook page (my kind of people) manage to pressure Cadbury Australia into jumping on the bandwagon. As you can see, they’re really trying:
Right, I’m off to call some Kiwi mates and beg for favours.
