With less than 300,000 residents, the tiny city of Bergen, on Norway‘s southwest coast, is still the country’s second-largest. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and fjords and with colourful wooden houses lining an old wharf, it’s like something off a postcard. Photographer Amalia Pop captured Bergen’s storybook aesthetic on a recent trip to Norway, telling AWOL Bergen’s unique, photogenic guise is just one of the best things about it.
