This NZ Church Made Out Of Living Trees Is IRL Fairytale Material

It’s true, New Zealand totally rules at nature. Need more evidence? How about this living church made entirely from trees?
After travelling the world as a keen observer of religious architecture, one man decided to construct a unique church of his own out of living trees.
After starting construction by transporting the trees to the site in April 2011, the Tree Church Gardens are now available for both public visitation and private events. Along with the living Church, the ground feature extensive gardens and a huge hedge maze that we’d be super happy to get lost in for the day.
Located in Ohaupo, New Zealand – around two hours south of Auckland by car – the heavenly chapel sits on three acres of landscaped gardens that are just as lush as the church itself.
The church, which seats 100 people, is – of course – available for weddings. Can you imagine the Instagram cred that would ensue if this was the site of your nuptials?
The church is open to the public on Sundays and Tuesdays throughout summer from 10am to 4pm, with admission costing $15AUD per person.
