Get In The Spirit At The Hunter Valley’s Christmas Lights Spectacular
There’s something truly magic about December. Whether it’s the smell of Christmas in the air, Mariah Carey being back on the radio, or having everyone in high spirits over the fact it’s almost holidays, it’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.
And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than exploring the southern hemisphere’s biggest and most breathtaking light display, which features more than two million lights? One thing’s for sure: It’s gonna be lit.
And, best of all, it’s just a short drive from Newcastle.
Now in its 10th year, the Hunter Valley’s Christmas Lights Spectacular is bigger and better than ever, with the addition of a Christmas-themed ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and swing chair ride for kids big and small.
While you’re there, treat yourself to some delicious Christmas eats; there’ll be a tasty selection of choice food and beverage stalls on the grounds to explore.
And, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, so also expect live entertainment and loads of carolling every night.
The much-loved event opened to the public earlier last month, and will run every day from 5:30pm to 10pm until Saturday, January 27, 2018.
Tickets start at $30, and can be purchased at the gate or via the website.
